Bahan Kajian
  1. Sejarah, budaya duduk dan gaya hidup sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku, sikap, nilai dan cara dalam duduk santai.
  2. Standar dimensi antropometri manusia serta ergonomi duduk: Dining Chair dan Easy Chair.
  3. Sifat, karakter, properti mekanis bahan furnitur (kayu, plywood, rotan, besi) dengan pertimbangan estetik dan fungsi.
  4. Combinatorial Nature of Creative Thinking dan generative AI dalam desain furnitur (Desain Easy Chair).
  1. History, sitting culture, and lifestyle as factors influencing behavior, attitudes, values, and ways of relaxing.
  2. Standard human anthropometric dimensions and sitting ergonomics: Dining Chair and Easy Chair.
  3. The nature, characteristics, and mechanical properties of furniture materials (wood, plywood, rattan, iron) with aesthetic and functional considerations.
  4. Combinatorial Nature of Creative Thinking and Generative AI in Furniture Design (Easy Chair Design).
Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)
  1. Mampu menerapkan standar dimensi antropometri dan ergonomi duduk makan dan duduk santai.
  2. Mampu mendesain kursi makan (dining set) dan kursi santai (easy chair) secara kreatif dengan pemahaman budaya duduk, perilaku pengguna, gaya hidup (trend, preferensi) aspek antropometri, standar ergonomi, sambungan, konstruksi, serta karakter material.
  3. Mampu mendesain kursi makan (dining set) dan kursi santai (easy chair) yang memenuhi kaidah production-friendly.
  4. Mampu menghasilkan creative idea generation secara manual dan beradaptasi co-synthesis dengan Generated AI (GenAI) menghasilkan desain kursi makan (dining set) dan kursi santai (easy chair).
  5. Mampu memvisualisasikan prinsip-prinsip konstruksi/kerangka (skeleton), komponen, sambungan (joinery) furnitur berbahan kayu, besi, rotan, plywood, anyaman sesuai karakter mekanis bahan dan vokabulari estetika.
  6. Mampu mengelola seluruh tahapan tugas perancangan kursi (mebel) secara profesional dan bertanggungjawab, baik secara mandiri maupun dengan bekerjasama (teamwork).
  1. Able to apply anthropometric and ergonomic dimensions for dining and casual seating.
  2. Able to creatively design dining sets and easy chairs, incorporating an understanding of seating culture, user behavior, lifestyle (trends, preferences), anthropometric aspects, ergonomic standards, connections, construction, and material characteristics.
  3. Able to design dining sets and easy chairs that meet production-friendly standards.
  4. Able to generate creative ideas manually and adapt co-synthesis with Generated AI (GenAI) to produce dining set and easy chair designs.
  5. Able to visualize the construction/skeleton principles, components, and joinery of furniture made from wood, iron, rattan, plywood, and wicker, based on the mechanical characteristics of the materials and aesthetic vocabulary.
  6. Able to manage all stages of furniture design tasks professionally and responsibly, both independently and in a team.

Catatan TambahanMahasiswa mampu merancang fasilitas duduk dining set dan kursi santai (easy chair) atas dasar problem desain dan perilaku pengguna sarana duduk melalui praktek latihan desain (design exercises), eksplorasi desain kreatif, kuliah teori tentang pengetahuan budaya dan gaya hidup, standar antropometri, ergonomi, perkembangan desain furnitur kontemporer, dan kuliah lapangan menyangkut teknologi konstruksi, dan pengetahuan bahan.Students will be able to design dining sets and easy chairs based on design problems and user behavior through practical design exercises, creative design explorations, theoretical lectures on cultural and lifestyle knowledge, anthropometric standards, ergonomics, and developments in contemporary furniture design, as well as fieldwork on construction technology and materials knowledge.
