  1. Basic concepts of partial differential equations (PDEs) and their classification.
  2. Maximum principles and energy methods, and their role in formulating well-posed problems.
  3. Formulation of analytical and formal solutions (separation of variables) for the three types of PDEs.
  4. Formulation and implementation of stable finite difference schemes for the three types of PDEs.
Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)
  1. Mahasiswa mampu memahami konsep dasar pdp
  2. Mahasiswa mampu merumuskan serta memahami karakteristik solusi analitik dari ketiga tipe pdp dengan syarat batas Dirichlet, Neumann, Robin.
  3. Mahasiswa mampu merumuskan serta skema numerik dari ketiga tipe pdp, termasuk syarat kestabilan dan penanganan syarat batas.
  4. Mahasiswa mengenal penerapan persamaan diferensial parsial pada beberapa kasus nyata.
  1. Students are able to understand the fundamental concepts of partial differential equations (PDEs).
  2. Students are able to formulate and understand the characteristics of analytical solutions for the three types of PDEs with Dirichlet, Neumann, and Robin boundary conditions.
  3. Students are able to formulate numerical schemes for the three types of PDEs, including stability conditions and the treatment of boundary conditions.
  4. Students are able to recognize applications of partial differential equations in several real-world problems.
