- Mampu memaparkan karakteristik & cara kerja sistem pembakaran & penggerak mula: bahan bakar industrial, sistem pembakaran, turbin kukus, turbin gas, motor bakar, siklus kombinasi, kogenerasi.
- Mampu menganalisis secara sederhana neraca massa & energi sistem penggerak mula: turbin kukus, turbin gas, motor bakar dan motor listrik
- Mampu memaparkan cara kerja & memperhitungkan spesifikasi dasar sistem pengolahan air baku & sistem air pendingin.
- Mampu menyusun rancangan dasar sistem penyediaan energi termal suatu pabrik sederhana dengan mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek keberlanjutan.
- Mampu memaparkan isu-isu & teknologi mutakhir terkait keberlanjutan pada sistem utilitas
| - Able to explain the types of main utility systems in process factories and their roles
- Able to explain the characteristics and workings of combustion and prime mover systems: industrial fuel, combustion system, steam turbine, gas turbine, combustion motor, combined cycle, cogeneration.
- Able to analyze in simple terms the mass & energy balance of prime mover systems: steam turbines, gas turbines, combustion motors, electric motors.
- Able to explain how it works & calculate the basic specifications of raw water processing systems & cooling water systems.
- Able to prepare a basic design of a thermal energy supply system for a simple factory by considering sustainability aspects.
- Able to explain the latest issues & technology related to sustainability in utility systems
