Bahan Kajian
  1. Tujuan peledakan serta konsep dasar bahan peledak, meliputi jenis, sifat-sifat, pemilihan, penanganan, dan sifat fisik bahan peledak
  2. Sifat detonasi dan aspek keselamatan bahan peledak, termasuk karakteristik detonasi serta prinsip-prinsip keselamatan dalam penggunaannya
  3. Interaksi batuan-bahan peledak dan mekanisme pemberaian batuan, mencakup tekanan detonasi dan tekanan lubang tembak, mekanisme pecahnya batuan, fasa gelombang kejut, fasa pengembangan gas, dan fasa pergerakan burden
  4. Pengaruh kondisi geologi terhadap unjuk kerja peledakan, termasuk sifat batuan, variasi perlapisan, keberadaan air, dan kondisi reactive ground
  5. Perancangan peledakan untuk tambang terbuka dan tambang bawah tanah, meliputi parameter rancangan (burden, spasi, subdrill, powder factor), pengisian lubang tembak, pola penyalaan, serta rancangan khusus bawah tanah (cut, stoping, lifter, contour)
  6. Dampak peledakan terhadap lingkungan dan teknik peledakan terkontrol, mencakup getaran tanah, air blast, gas beracun, fly rock, sumber blast damage, serta metode presplitting, smooth blasting, trim blasting, dan line drilling, termasuk kerangka regulasi penggunaan bahan peledak di Indonesia (gudang, penyimpanan, pengangkutan, dan prosedur peledakan khusus)
  1. The objectives of blasting and the fundamentals of explosives, including types, properties, selection, handling, and physical properties of explosives
  2. Detonation characteristics and explosives safety, including detonation behavior and key safety principles in explosive use
  3. Rock–explosive interaction and rock breakage mechanisms, covering detonation pressure and borehole pressure, rock fracturing mechanisms, shock wave propagation phase, gas expansion phase, and burden movement phase
  4. The influence of geological conditions on blasting performance, including rock properties, bedding/layering variability, the presence of water, and reactive ground conditions
  5. Blast design for surface and underground mining, including design parameters (burden, spacing, subdrilling, powder factor), charging practices, initiation patterns, and underground-specific designs (cut, stoping, lifter, contour)
  6. Environmental impacts of blasting and controlled blasting techniques, including ground vibration, air blast, toxic gases, flyrock, sources of blast damage, and methods such as presplitting, smooth blasting, trim blasting, and line drilling, as well as the regulatory framework for explosive use in Indonesia (magazines/storage, transportation, and special blasting procedures)

  1. Mahasiswa mampu menjelaskan peran peledakan dalam keseluruhan aliran proses penambangan, khususnya keterkaitannya dengan konsep tambang-ke-pabrik
  2. Mahasiswa mampu menerapkan prinsip dasar untuk merancang peledakan yang aman dan efisien sesuai target hasil, mengendalikan blast damage dan dampak lingkungan, melakukan optimasi desain, serta mengevaluasi aspek ekonomi peledakan
  3. Mahasiswa mampu mengidentifikasi dan menerapkan persyaratan keselamatan terkait penggunaan bahan peledak, termasuk aspek keamanan, penyimpanan, pengangkutan, dan penanganan
  1. Students will be able to explain the role of blasting within the overall mining process flow, particularly its linkage to the mine-to-mill concept
  2. Students will be able to apply fundamental principles to design safe and efficient blasts to achieve specified outcomes, control blast damage and environmental impacts, optimize blast design, and evaluate the economics of blasting
  3. Students will be able to identify and apply safety requirements related to explosive use, including security, storage, transportation, and handling
