- Mahasiswa mampu merancang sistem penambangan batubara dengan mempertimbangkan aspek keselamatan, kesehatan, lingkungan, dan ekonomi, serta mengevaluasi proses pencucian batubara dan pengembangan produk briket batubara sebagai alternatif pemanfaatan yang berkelanjutan
- Mahasiswa mampu mengidentifikasi konteks historis dan perkembangan industri batubara Indonesia, mengevaluasi dampak lingkungan dari pemanfaatan batubara, menganalisis dinamika pasar batubara global, serta membuat penilaian profesional terkait tanggung jawab etika dalam penambangan dan pemanfaatan batubara terhadap masyarakat dan lingkungan
- Mahasiswa mampu memahami metode pengujian laboratorium kualitas batubara, mengembangkan prosedur pengujian untuk dapat menganalisis washability, menginterpretasikan data hasil pencucian batubara dan karakteristik pembakaran, serta menyimpulkan hasil eksperimen berdasarkan penilaian teknik untuk optimasi pemanfaatan batubara

- Students are able to design coal mining systems by considering safety, health, environmental, and economic aspects, as well as evaluate coal washing processes and the development of coal briquette products as sustainable alternative utilization options
- Students are able to identify the historical context and development of the Indonesian coal industry, evaluate the environmental impacts of coal utilization, analyze global coal market dynamics, and make professional judgments regarding ethical responsibilities in coal mining and utilization toward society and the environment
- Students are able to understand laboratory testing methods for coal quality, develop testing procedures to analyze coal washability, interpret coal washing data and combustion characteristics, and draw experimental conclusions based on engineering judgment for optimizing coal utilization
