  1. Pendahuluan: Permasalahan, kendala, dan peluang, proses terbentuknya limbah padat.
  2. Komposisi dan karakteristik : Komposisi sampah dan sludge IPAL, karakteristik khusus: padatan, volatil, karbon, organik.
  3. Teknik pemilahan : Pemilahan manual dan non-manual, penyaringan berdasarkan perbedaan ukuran dan densitas.
  4. Pengolahan buangan padat secara umum : Pengomposan, insinerasi, biogasifikasi, pirolisa, prospek dan hambatan.
  5. Teori pengomposan: Proses aerob , parameter pengomposan
  6. Teknik pengomposan: Jenis, cara pemilihan, kelebihan dan kekurang-an, kendala ekonomis
