  1. Pengantar Psikologi Persepsi Visual: Ruang lingkup, relevansi untuk DKV, dan orientasi perkuliahan.
  2. Determinasi Persepsi & Proses Pengindraan: Faktor internal/eksternal, mekanisme indra, ambang batas, sinestesia
  3. Proses Perseptual: Bottom-up & top-down, pengenalan pola, kategorisasi/representasi stimulus.
  4. Persepsi sebagai Proses Aktif: Hipotesis persepsi, konteks, pengalaman masa lalu, analisis & sintesis.
  5. Memori & Emosi dalam Persepsi: Sensory–short-term–long-term memory, forgetting, pengaruh emosi.
  6. Persepsi–Motivasi–Sikap–Perilaku & Aplikasi Kasus: Keterkaitan persepsi dengan perilaku (mis. S-O-B-A), diskusi fenomena, dan presentasi.
  1. Introduction to Visual Perception Psychology: Scope, relevance to VCD, and course orientation.
  2. Determinants of Perception & Sensory Processes: Internal/external factors, sensory mechanisms, thresholds, synesthesia.
  3. Perceptual Processes: Bottom-up & top-down processing, pattern recognition, stimulus categorization/representation.
  4. Perception as an Active Process: Perceptual hypotheses, context, past experience, analysis & synthesis.
  5. Memory & Emotion in Perception: Sensory–short-term–long-term memory, forgetting, emotional effects.
  6. Perception–Motivation–Attitude–Behavior & Case Application: Linking perception to behavior (e.g., S-O-B-A), phenomenon discussion, and presentations.
Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)
  1. Mampu menjelaskan konsep dasar psikologi persepsi dan fenomena persepsi visual yang relevan untuk analisis visual.
  2. Mampu menganalisis dan menalar suatu kasus/fenomena persepsi visual menggunakan konsep dan prinsip persepsi secara argumentatif.
  3. Mampu menginterpretasi dan mengevaluasi temuan riset empirik terkait persepsi visual (hasil penelitian terdahulu) sebagai dasar analisis.
  4. Mampu menerapkan prinsip persepsi visual untuk memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan pada contoh karya/desain sederhana.
  1. Able to explain fundamental concepts of perceptual psychology and visual perception phenomena relevant to visual analysis.
  2. Able to analyze and reason about a case/phenomenon of visual perception using perceptual concepts and principles in an argument-based manner.
  3. Able to interpret and evaluate empirical research findings on visual perception (previous studies) as a basis for analysis.
  4. Able to apply visual perception principles to propose improvement recommendations for simple design examples.
