Mahasiswa mampu menerapkan teori dasar ilmu teknik mesin saat proses desain produk rekayasa. Mahasiswa mampu menarik kesimpulan dan mengambil keputusan pada desain produk mereka dari hasil analisis perhitungan yang telah dilakukan berdasarkan teori dasar ilmu teknik mesin yang telah mereka terima.
- Mahasiswa memahami beberapa teknik dasar konsep desain produk rekayasa. Mahasiswa mampu menerapkan teori desain produk rekayasa. Mahasiswa mampu mendesain produk rekayasa berdasarkan DR&O. | - Students understand the fundamental theories of mechanical engineering that are essential for the engineering product design process. They are able to apply these fundamental theories during the design process, and are capable of drawing conclusions and making informed decisions regarding their product designs based on analytical calculations grounded in mechanical engineering principles.
- Students understand fundamental techniques and concepts in engineering product design. They are able to apply design theories and design products based on Design, Engineering, and Optimization (DEO) principles. Students are also able to identify and determine the appropriate processes required to manufacture their designed products. Furthermore, they are capable of developing prototypes by considering various factors involved in the manufacturing process.
- Students understand how to prepare technical reports and deliver presentations related to the products they have designed and developed. They apply effective methods in both presenting and reporting their design and fabrication outcomes.
- Students are aware of and take into consideration non-technical aspects in the process of designing and developing products.
- Students understand effective teamwork principles in the context of product design and development. They are able to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team to realize product designs.
