  1. Lingkungan tanah dan konsep-konsep ekologi yang terkait
  2. Keanekaragaman biota tanah (Makro dan meso fauna; mikroorganisme tanah jamur, bakteri dan Archea)
  3. Interaksi organisme (Komensalisme, mutualisme) dan proses-proses dalam tanah (dekomposisi, daur biogeokimiawi & pendauran nutrien)
  4. Keterkaitan antara komunitas tumbuhan (Above-ground) dan komunitas biota tanah (Below-ground), interaksi antar Tingkat trofik .
  5. Kaitan antara karakteristik biologis tanah dengan kondisi fisik-kimiawi tanah
  1. Soil environments and related ecological concepts
  2. Diversity of soil biota (macro- and meso-fauna; soil microorganisms—fungi, bacteria, and archaea)
  3. Organism interactions (commensalism, mutualism) and soil processes (decomposition, biogeochemical cycles, and nutrient cycling)
  4. The relationship between plant communities (above-ground) and soil biota communities (below-ground), and interactions among trophic levels.
  5. The relationship between soil biological characteristics and soil physical-chemical conditions

  5. Mahasiswa mampu bekerja secara mandiri maupun dalam kelompok untuk memahami dan menganalisis masalah atau aplikasi dari perkembangan ilmu ekologi tanah berdasarkan studi literatur. (CPL 08)
