  1. Pemahaman model, mock-up, dan prototipe dalam desain produk.
  2. Pengenalan material, peralatan, keamanan dan keselamatan kerja dalam pembuatan model dalam desain produk serta teknik penggunaannya.
  3. Teknik pembuatan model, mock-up, atau prototipe produk, dari pembentukan, pembuatan detail, penghalusan & pewarnaan (finishing) hingga perakitan menggunakan teknik manual/tangan dan penggunaan mesin tertentu.
  4. Dokumentasi proses pembuatan model, mock-up, atau prototipe produk dan fotografi produk.
  1. • Understanding sketching in product design • Perspective in drawing a product • Introduction to drawing tools in product design and techniques of use • Use of quick sketches in the form of thumbnail sketches • Black-and-white perspective drawing of product objects • Colored perspective drawing (manual rendering) of small and/or large product objects and introduction to several techniques for visualizing materials in sketches (manual and digital/electronic) • Creation of usage (operational) sketches of products
  2. • Understanding models, mock-ups, and prototypes in product design • Introduction to materials, tools, work safety and security in model making in product design and techniques of use
  3. • Techniques for making models, mock-ups, or product prototypes from shaping, detailing, smoothing & coloring (finishing) to assembly using manual/hand techniques and certain machine usage
  4. • Documentation of model, mock-up, or prototype making process and product photography • Group presentation using supporting media (visual and audio)

  1. 1. Mahasiswa mampu menerapkan dan mengembangkan teknik dasar visualisasi tiga dimensi berupa model berskala atau full-scale, mock-up maupun prototipe dari ide dan solusi desain.
  2. Mahasiswa mampu menerapkan teknik dasar penyajian dokumentasi proses pembuatan model, mock-up, atau prototipe dan hasil akhirnya dalam media visual.
  1. • Students understand various types of tools and machines and their respective functions in engineering and production processes. • Able to work professionally and adapt to changes according to the scope of work. • Possess knowledge of product/system design methodology appropriate to the design problem faced.
  2. • Students understand various types of tools and machines and their respective functions in engineering and production processes. • Students are able to understand basic material characteristics and their application in joint systems according to mechanical function. • Students have the ability to work independently and in groups/teams in a Workshop using various tools and machines.
