- Mampu mengenal dan mengidentifikasi genus-genus penting nannoplankton, terutama yang berumur Tersier
- Memahami dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip klasifikasi nannofosil serta memahami kehidupan organisme nannoplankton dan keberadaannya sebagai fosil sedimen.
- Mampu melakukan pengambilan sampel, preparasi, dan determinasi nannofosil dengan menggunakan metode yang sesuai untuk analisis mikropaleontologi.
- Mampu melakukan analisis lingkungan pengendapan berdasarkan data nannofosil dan mengintegrasikan hasilnya untuk korelasi stratigrafi.

- Able to recognize and identify important genus of nannoplankton, especially those of Tertiary age.

- Able to perform depositional environment analysis based on nannofossil data and integrate the results for stratigraphic correlation.
