Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK) | - Mampu memahami konsep dasar fosil dan proses fosilisasi, serta mengaplikasikan pengetahuan ini dalam studi evolusi dan paleontologi.
- Memahami arti penting ruang dan waktu dalam evolusi dan paleontologi serta mampu menerapkannya dalam pemecahan masalah-masalah geologi.
- Mampu menerapkan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam paleontologi, termasuk biometri, untuk analisis dan interpretasi fosil.
- Memahami sistematika makrofosil invertebrata dan vertebrata, terutama yang ditemukan di Indonesia, serta mampu mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan fosil tersebut.
- Mampu menganalisis asal-muasal, migrasi, dan penyebaran fosil vertebrata, termasuk fosil manusia, serta memahami evolusi Homo erectus di Indonesia.
- Memahami hubungan antara keberadaan fosil vertebrata dengan perubahan muka laut dan tektonik Kuarter di Indonesia, serta mampu menginterpretasikan dinamika geologi terkait.
- Mampu mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis fosil-fosil invertebrata di Indonesia, serta memahami arti pentingnya dalam dinamika geologi Indonesia, regional, dan global.

- Understand the importance of space and time in evolution and paleontology and be able to apply it in solving geological problems.
- Able to apply quantitative and qualitative methods in paleontology, including biometry, for fossil analysis and interpretation.
- Understand the systematics of invertebrate and vertebrate macrofossils, especially those found in Indonesia, and be able to identify and classify these fossils.
- Able to analyze the origin, migration and dispersal of vertebrate fossils, including human fossils, and understand the evolution of Homo erectus in Indonesia.
- Understand the relationship between the presence of vertebrate fossils with sea level change and Quaternary tectonics in Indonesia, and be able to interpret related geological dynamics.
- Able to identify and analyze invertebrate fossils in Indonesia, and understand their importance in Indonesian, regional and global geological dynamics.
