Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK) | - Memahami pemahaman dasar filosofi/konsep tentang Sains, Uniformitarianism, Creationism; Konsep pemikiran Steno: Perlapisan, Koorelasi, Fasies dan Konsep dasar William Smith tentang Fosil dan Stratigrafi
- Memahami konsep waktu dan ruang dalam Geologi; Konsep perkembangan (ilmu dalam) Geologi:Tektonik Lempeng, Sekuen dan Seismik Stratigrafi; dasar filosofi dan konsep pembentukan bumi dalam sistem tata surya
- Memahami dan mampu menjelaskan Teori Geosinklin, Pengapungan Benua dan Tektonik Lempeng. Memahami makna perkembangan fauna dan flora serta lingkungan sepanjang masa geologi (Paleozoikum–Kenozoikum), aspek kehidupan/evolusi, meliputi arti proses geologi terhadap perkembangan kehidupan dan evolusinya
- Memahami tentang tektonik dan magmatisme/kegiatan volkanik
- Memahami tentang Basin meliputi pembentukan cekungan dan pemodelannya serta proses sedimentasi
- Memahami Pemahaman konsep tentang Models and Modelling dan konsep tentang Eksplorasi (Petroleum, Mineral dll.)
| - Understand the basic understanding of philosophy/concepts about Science, Uniformitarianism, Creationism; Steno's concept of thought: Layering, Co-relation, Facies and William Smith's basic concepts of Fossils and Stratigraphy.
- Understand the concept of time and space in Geology; The concept of development (science in) Geology: Plate Tectonics, Sequence and Seismic Stratigraphy; basic philosophy and concept of earth formation in the solar system.
- Understand and be able to explain Geocline Theory, Continental Drift and Plate Tectonics. Understand the meaning of the development of fauna and flora and the environment throughout the geological period (Paleozoic-Cenozoic), aspects of life/evolution, including the meaning of geological processes for the development of life and its evolution.
- Understand about tectonics and magmatism/volcanic activity
- Understand about Basin including basin formation and modeling and sedimentation process.

Metode Pembelajaran | KBL (Knowledge Based Learning): Mahasiswa diberi bahan kajian yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuannya, melalui kegiatan seperti ceramah, menonton video. Tepat untuk kuliah yang CPMK-nya mementingkan kognitif.
SBL (Skill Based Learning): Mahasiswa diberi bahan kajian yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketrampilannya, melalui kegiatan seperti praktikum, studi lapangan.Tepat untuk kuliah yang CPMK-nya mementingkan psikomotorik
PBL (Problem Based Learning): Mahasiswa dihadapkan pada suatu masalah, dan mencari solusinya dengan mengaplikasikan BK. Tepat untuk kuliah yang CPL-nya mengandung pemecahan masalah (problem solving).
CBL (Case Based Learning): Mahasiswa dihadapkan pada kondisi nyata di Masyarakat / dunia, dan menanggapinya dengan memilih solusi terbaik menggunakan BK. Perlu digunakan untuk kuliah yang CPL-nya mementingkan pengambilan keputusan secara subyektif (etika, profesinalisme, dll.). | KBL (Knowledge Based Learning): Students are given study materials that are expected to improve their knowledge, through activities such as lectures, watching videos.
