Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK) | - Mampu memaparkan konsep keselamatan proses dan membedakannya dari konsep kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja.
- Mampu menentukan dampak paparan zat beracun terhadap keselamatan manusia di lingkungan kerja.
- Mampu mengidentifikasi potensi sumber dan jenis kebocoran, menentukan model dispersi yang sesuai, serta menghitung luasan area terdampak berdasarkan jenis fluida, kondisi operasi, dan kondisi lingkungan.
- Mampu menentukan rentang kemudahan terbakar (flammability) dari bahan kimia, menentukan jenis dan potensi kebakaran/ledakan, menghitung potensi kerusakan akibat kebakaran dan ledakan, serta menentukan jarak aman dari sumber kebakaran/ledakan.
- Mampu menjelaskan dan menentukan metode pengendalian kebakaran dan ledakan yang efektif untuk mengurangi potensi resiko keselamatan di pabrik proses.
- Mampu melakukan analisis keselamatan proses secara kualitatif (dengan metode HAZID dan HAZOP) dan menentukan resiko secara kuantitatif (dengan analisis probabilitas menggunakan analisis “event tree” dan “fault tree”) terhadap kejadian sebaran gas beracun, kebakaran dan ledakan di pabrik proses berbantuan perangkat lunak, serta memberikan rekomendasi yang sesuai terkait keselamatan proses.

- Able to determine the impact of exposure to toxic substances on human safety in the work environment.
- Able to identify potential sources and types of leakage, determine the appropriate dispersion model, and calculate the extent of the affected area based on fluid type, operating conditions, and environmental conditions.
- Able to determine the flammability range of chemicals, determine the type and potential of fire/explosion, calculate the potential damage due to fire and explosion, and determine the safe distance from the source of fire/explosion.
- Able to explain and determine effective fire and explosion control methods to reduce potential safety risks in process plants.
- Able to perform qualitative process safety analysis (using HAZID and HAZOP methods) and quantitative risk determination (using probability analysis using "event tree" and "fault tree" analysis) of toxic gas dispersion, fire and explosion events in software-assisted process plants, and provide appropriate recommendations related to process safety.
