  4. Peran pemilahan dalam DU: Pentingnya pemilahan, teknik-teknik pemilahan seperti magnetis, optik, dsb. Pemilahan manual
  5. Daur ulang dan sampah kota: Komposisi, karakteristik, potensi DU, peran sektor informal
  6. Bahan kompos: Proses degradasi anaerob, kompos dari bahan organik, teknik-teknik dan pemasaran
  7. Potensi gas-bio: Proses degradasi anaerob, gas bio dari timbunan sampah, potensi gasbio landfill dan reaktor

  1. Mahasiswa memahami dan mampu mengidentifikasikan persoalan-persoalan penanganan limbah yang terkait dengan pilihan adanya upaya daur-ulang, serta pertimbangan teknis, social dan cost dalam opsi tersebut.
  1. Students understand and are able to identify waste handling issues related to recycling options, as well as technical, social and cost considerations in these options.
