  1. Pendahuluan: penjelasan kuliah secara umum, tata cara, ujian dan literatur.
  2. Pengertian umum pengolahan lumpur: pengertian lumpur, slurry, kandungan solid, kadar air serta satuan-satuan yang umum dipergunakan.
  3. Sumber-sumber timbulan lumpur: lumpur dari instalasi pengolahan air, lumpur dari aktifitas industri, perhitungan volume lumpur per satuan waktu.
  4. Karakteristik lumpur Instalasi Pengolah Air: karakteristik lumpur primer, lumpur sekunder, lumpur kimia, lumpur biologi.
  5. Prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan dan pengolahan lumpur: pengentalan, stabilisasi, pengurangan kadar air dan disposal.
  6. Pengentalan lumpur: pengentalan lumpur secara gravitasi dan cara perhitungan berdasarkan pengendapan tipe 3.
  7. Filterability: definisi filterability, langkah-langkah percobaan untuk mencari harga filterability.
  8. Pengurangan kadar air: berbagai teknik pengurangan kadar air termasuk secara mekanik dan menggunakan panas matahari.
  9. Sludge Drying Bed: dasar-dasar perencanaan, perhitungan dan gambar sludge drying bed.
  10. Karakteristik lumpur industri: karakteristik lumpur industri terutama oil sludge.
  11. Pengolahan lumpur industri: aplikasi teknologi bioremediasi untuk pengolahan lumpur industri dengan basis organik serta opsi-opsi lain.
  12. Penanganan pasca pengolahan lumpur industri: beberapa opsi sistem disposal, pengolahan lanjut dengan pythoremediasi serta monitoring.

  2. General understanding of mud processing: definition of mud, slurry, solid content, water content and commonly used units.
  3. Sources of sludge generation: sludge from water treatment plants, sludge from industrial activities, calculation of sludge volume per unit time.
  4. Water Treatment Plant sludge characteristics: characteristics of primary sludge, secondary sludge, chemical sludge, biological sludge.
  5. Principles of sludge management and processing: thickening, stabilization, water content reduction and disposal.
  6. Sludge thickening: sludge thickening by gravity and calculation method based on type 3 settling.
  7. Filterability: definition of filterability, experimental steps to find filterability values.
  8. Water content reduction: various water content reduction techniques including mechanical and using solar heat.
  9. Sludge Drying Bed: basics of planning, calculations and drawings of sludge drying beds.
  10. Characteristics of industrial sludge: characteristics of industrial sludge, especially oil sludge.
  11. Industrial sludge processing: application of bioremediation technology for processing industrial sludge on an organic basis and other options.
  12. Handling post-processing industrial sludge: several disposal system options, further processing with pythoremediation and monitoring.
Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)
  1. Mahasiswa mengetahui karakteristik lumpur dan mengerti prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan dan pengolahannya termasuk dapat mendisain unit pengental lumpur, unit pengeringan lumpur serta mengetahui opsi pengolahan bagi lumpur dari kegiatan industri.
  1. Students know the characteristics of sludge and understand the principles of management and processing, including being able to design sludge thickening units, sludge drying units and knowing processing options for sludge from industrial activities.
