- Able to analyze Design Requirements and Objectives (DR&O) and reference vehicles, as well as formulate the operational concept of the designed vehicle.
- Able to generate alternative design concepts, evaluate them, and select a final design concept.
- Capable of producing a preliminary design that considers various design aspects such as mission, aerodynamics, performance, and technology levels.
- Able to evaluate design considerations and produce the geometry of the vehicle's main components.
- Capable of creating an integrated layout of the structure and systems with the design geometry.
- Able to calculate aerodynamic characteristics, weight and balance, stability and flight control, flight performance, and perform a cost analysis of the designed vehicle.
- Capable of producing a design that considers the interrelationship of various aspects, explaining their impact, performing iterative improvements, and evaluating them against the DR&O and operational concept considerations.
- Able to present ideas both orally and in writing, within a team and to external stakeholders.
- Capable of applying teamwork in a project to achieve the set targets.
