Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)
  1. Mahasiswa diingatkan kembali pemahamannya tentang material genetik: Struktur molekul DNA, genom, peta genetik (koding, non koding DNA), jenis DNA (DNA inti, kloroplas, mitokondria), kromosom, dan sumber-sumber DNA.
  2. Mahasiswa memahami adanya genetik variasi antar individu/organisme yang terjadi karena proses alami sel: proses reproduksi (mitosis dan miosis sel), DNA rekombinasi.
  3. Mahasiswa memahami definisi dan konsep dasar Sidik Jari DNA, serta beragam metode sidik jari DNA: RFLP, RAPD, AFLP, SNPs, DNA Barcoding.
  4. Mahasiswa memahami teknik-teknik laboratorium pada sidik jari DNA: Ekstraksi DNA, PCR, Elektroforesis, Sekuensing, Enzim Restriksi, southern blot.
  5. Mahasiswa mengenal aplikasi sidik jari DNA: Forensik, Breeding, Arkeologi, Evolusi, Penentuan garis keturunan, kesehatan
  6. Mahasiswa melakukan kajian literatur (review paper) terkait Sidik Jari DNA.
  7. Mahasiswa mengkomunikasikan hasil pengerjaan tugas review paper dan studi kasus dalam bentuk laporan tertulis dan presentasi oral.
  8. Mahasiswa melakukan studi kasus yang mengaplikasikan sidik jari DNA dalam berbagai bidang seperti Forensik, Breeding, Arkeologi, Evolusi, Penentuan garis keturunan atau kesehatan.
  1. Students are reminded of their understanding of genetic material: DNA molecular structure, genome, genetic map (coding, non-coding DNA), types of DNA (nuclear DNA, chloroplasts, mitochondria), chromosomes, and sources of DNA.
  2. Students understand the existence of genetic variations between individuals/organisms that occur due to natural cell processes: reproductive processes (cell mitosis and meiosis), DNA recombination.
  3. Students understand the definition and basic concepts of DNA fingerprinting, as well as various DNA fingerprinting methods: RFLP, RAPD, AFLP, SNPs, DNA Barcoding.
  4. Students understand laboratory techniques for DNA fingerprinting: DNA extraction, PCR, electrophoresis, sequencing, restriction enzymes, southern blot.
  5. Students get to know the applications of DNA fingerprinting: Forensics, Breeding, Archaeology, Evolution, Determining lineages, health
  6. Students carry out a literature review (review paper) related to DNA fingerprinting.
  7. Students communicate the results of their review paper assignments and case studies in the form of written reports and oral presentations.
  8. Students carry out case studies that apply DNA fingerprinting in various fields such as Forensics, Breeding, Archaeology, Evolution, Determining lineage or health.
