1. Pengantar Protokol dan Model Jaringan: Konsep dasar protokol jaringan, sejarah, dan standardisasi, model referensi OSI dan TCP/IP, encapsulation, pengenalan TCP/IP, dan organisasi standard internet.
2. Teknologi Jaringan Dasar: Pengantar teknologi jaringan seperti LAN, Virtual LAN (VLAN), dan perangkat jaringan; praktik konfigurasi kabel UTP dan switch dasar; administrasi jaringan dan pengelolaan topologi jaringan.
3. Network Layer: Pengantar Network Layer (Layer 3), pengalamatan IPv4 dan IPv6, proses pengantaran dan forwarding paket IP, protokol Internet (IPv4), Address Resolution Protocol (ARP), Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP), serta protokol routing unicast seperti RIP, OSPF, dan BGP.
4. Konsep Routing: Implementasi routing statis dan dinamis dalam jaringan; praktik konfigurasi dasar router termasuk ARP, ICMP, dan routing statis; routing antar VLAN dengan protokol OSPF dan BGP.
5. Transport Layer: Pengantar Transport Layer, fungsi dan protokol di lapisan transport termasuk User Datagram Protocol (UDP) dan Transmission Control Protocol (TCP); implementasi dan analisis protokol lapisan transport dalam lingkungan jaringan nyata.
6. Application Layer: Pengantar Application Layer dan protokol terkait seperti DHCP, Domain Name System (DNS), NAT, ACL, TELNET dan SSH, FTP, World Wide Web dan HTTP; praktik konfigurasi dan manajemen layanan jaringan seperti DHCP, DNS, NAT, dan Access Control List (ACL); implementasi layanan jaringan untuk mendukung komunikasi aplikasi.
7. Praktikum dan Evaluasi: Implementasi konsep jaringan melalui praktik di laboratorium, termasuk konfigurasi NAT, ACL, dan layanan jaringan lainnya; Ujian Tengah Semester (UTS) dan Ujian Akhir Semester (UAS) untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa. | Course contents :
1. Introduction to Network Protocols and Models: Basic concepts of network protocols, history, and standardization, OSI and TCP/IP reference models, encapsulation, TCP/IP introduction, and organization of internet standards.
2. Basic Network Technology: Introduction to network technologies such as LANs, Virtual LANs (VLANs), and networking devices; basic UTP cable and switch configuration practices; network administration and network topology management.
3. Network Layer: Introduction to the Network Layer (Layer 3), IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, IP packet delivery and forwarding process, Internet protocol (IPv4), Address Resolution Protocol (ARP), Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP), and unicast routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, and BGP.
4. Routing Concept: Implementation of static and dynamic routing in the network; basic router configuration practices including ARP, ICMP, and static routing; routing between VLANs with OSPF and BGP protocols.
