  1. Mahasiswa mampu mendiskripsi dan mengidentifikasi beberapa jenis mikrofosil terutama foraminifera, nanofosil dan palinomorf
  2. Dapat memahami tentang pengertian waktu pembentukan batuan; penggunaan data paleontologi untuk menjelaskan sejarah geologi suatu daerah
  3. Mahasiswa mengerti hubungan antara waktu pembentukan batuan – fosil dan stratigrafi
  4. Mampu menentukan umur dan lingkungan pengendapan sedimen berdasar mikrofosil yang dijumpai.
  1. Students are able to describe and identify several types of microfossils, especially foraminifera, nanofossils and palynomorphs.
  2. Can understand the meaning of the time of rock formation; the use of paleontological data to explain the geological history of an area.
  3. Students understand the relationship between the time of rock formation - fossils and stratigraphy
  4. Able to determine the age and environment of sediment deposition based on the microfossils found.
