  2. tinjauan umum standar-standar kerekayasaan, seperti standar ASTM, API, dsb
  3. Konsep dasar perancangan tata letak peralatan proses dan sistem perpipaan
  1. Basic principles in designing process equipment
  2. Overview of engineering standards, such as ASTM, API, etc.
  3. Basic concepts of designing the layout of process equipment and piping systems
Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)
  1. Mampu mengetahui dan menggunakan standar-standar praktis dalam perancangan peralatan proses
  2. Mampu menjelaskan peralatan yang umum digunakan di industri proses beserta prinsip kerjanya
  3. Mampu memilih peralatan proses yang sesuai dengan memperhatikan batasan-batasan informasi yang tersedia dan asumsi-asumsi yang dapat diterima
  4. Mampu menganalisis dan menghitung jenis material, ketebalan, dan struktur pendukung untuk peralatan dan perpipaan berdasarkan kondisi proses dan eksternal
  5. Mampu merancang tata letak peralatan dan perpipaan dengan menerapkan standar praktis yang tersedia berbantuan komputer
  1. Able to know and use practical standards in designing process equipment
  2. Able to explain equipment that are commonly used in the process industry and its working principles
  3. Able to select appropriate process equipment by taking into account the limitations of available information and acceptable assumptions.
  4. Able to analyze and calculate material types, thicknesses, and supporting structures for equipment and piping based on process and external conditions.
  5. Able to design equipment and piping layout by applying available practical standards with computer assistance.
