  1. Mahasiswa mampu mengidentifikasi dan memformulasikan masalah dalam bidang teknik mesin yang kompleks berdasarkan studi literatur dan kebutuhan penelitian/proyek magister.
  2. Mahasiswa mampu mengintegrasikan pengetahuan lintas bidang dalam penyusunan landasan teori penelitian.
  3. Mahasiswa mampu melakukan analisis kritis terhadap state-of-the-art untuk memperkuat konteks penelitian.
  4. Mahasiswa mampu merancang metodologi penelitian yang sesuai dengan tujuan, batasan, dan variabel yang ditetapkan secara logis dan terukur berdasarkan jadwal.
  5. Mahasiswa mampu menyusun dan mempresentasikan proposal penelitian secara sistematis, jelas, dan sesuai standar akademik.
  6. Mahasiswa mampu mengenali kebutuhan pengetahuan tambahan, melakukan belajar mandiri secara sistematis dengan memilih dan mengevaluasi sumber belajar yang relevan, serta mengintegrasikan hasil pembelajaran tersebut ke dalam pengembangan penelitian.
  1. Students are able to identify and formulate problems in the complex field of mechanical engineering based on literature studies and master's research/project needs.
  2. Students are able to integrate cross-field knowledge in compiling theoretical foundations for research.
  3. Students are able to conduct critical analysis of the state-of-the-art to strengthen the research context.
  4. Students are able to design research methodologies that are in accordance with objectives, limitations, and variables that are determined logically and measurably based on a schedule.
  5. Students are able to compile and present research proposals systematically, clearly, and in accordance with academic standards.
  6. Students are able to recognize the need for additional knowledge, carry out systematic independent learning by selecting and evaluating relevant learning sources, and integrate the learning outcomes into research development.
