  1. Mampu memahami pembentukan batubara, Coal chemictry serta mengerti tentang rangking batubara, Cleat system and natural fracturing. Mampu memahami petrologi batubara dan Dual Porosity Model.
  2. Mampu memahami prinsip Adsorpsi, isotherm construction serta CH4 retention dan content in coal. Mampu memahami pemodelan Micropores dan Coal sorption, ash and moisture content.
  3. Memahami dasar ilmu Reservoir Coalbed Methane seperti porositas dan permeability di Coal, laju alir gas, CBM In Place dan Cadangan. Memahami karakterisasi reservoir CBM dan well spacing serta Drainage area Enhanced CBM recovery.
  4. Mampu memahami.Field Preparation dan Drilling Coalbed Methane Well, Wireline Logging.Applications in Coalbed Methane Wells serta Well Completion Strategies pada lapangan Coalbed Methane. Mampu memahami stimulasi di sumur.Coalbed Methane
