Bahan Kajian
  1. Membahas proses-proses fisis di heliosfer berdasarkan pengamatan aktivitas Matahari dari atmosfernya (bintik Matahari, ledakan Matahari, lontaran massa korona, dll.)
  2. Penjalaran gelombang elektromagnetik (sinar-X, visual, dll.) dan partikel plasma energetik (electron, proton dan ion) berupa angin Matahari dalam medan magnetik (gelombang kejut, spiral Parker, daerah ko-rotasi, dll.) dan interaksinya di ruang antar planet dalam skala waktu transien ataupun variabilitas dalam siklus Matahari.
  3. Gerak orbit dan sifat plasma dalam medan magnetik juga dipelajari dengan asumsi gerak partikel tunggal.
  4. Pengenalan pengamatan aktivitas Matahari multipanjang gelombang untuk lapisan fotosfer dan kromosfer dilakukan dengan teleskop Matahari.

The propagation of electromagnetic waves (X-rays, visual, etc.) and energetic plasma particles (electrons, protons and ions) in the form of solar wind in magnetic fields (shock waves, Parker spirals, co-rotation regions, etc.) and their interactions in the interspace planets on transient time scales or variability in the solar cycle.
  3. The orbital motion and properties of plasma in a magnetic field are also studied assuming single particle motion.
  4. Introduction to multiwavelength observations of solar activity for the photosphere and chromosphere layers carried out with solar telescopes.
Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)
  1. Lulusan kuliah ini mampu memahami konsep, mengenal, menggali pengetahuan dan data terkini tentang aktivitas Matahari, interaksi angin Matahari di ruang antar planet dan atmosfer planet berdasarkan pengamatan berbagai instrumentasi, serta mengenal hubungan fisisnya dengan bidang-bidang lain, yaitu cuaca antariksa, fisika Matahari, fisika plasma maupun pada ilmuilmu sains atmosfer, khususnya ionosfer dan magnetosfer.
  1. Graduates of this course are able to understand concepts, recognize, explore the latest knowledge and data about solar activity, the interaction of the solar wind in interplanetary space and planetary atmospheres based on observations of various instruments, as well as getting to know its physical relationship with other fields, namely space weather, solar physics, plasma physics as well as atmospheric sciences, especially the ionosphere and magnetosphere.
