  1. Pengantar Desain Karakter dan World Building: Pengenalan hubungan antara perancangan karakter dan pengembangan dunia, menekankan bagaimana karakter dan latar saling membentuk makna naratif.
  2. Prinsip Desain Karakter: Karakter dan Storytelling: Prinsip dasar dalam merancang karakter yang kuat, termasuk kejelasan visual, komunikasi kepribadian, elemen simbolik, serta fungsi karakter dalam narasi.
  3. Premis Cerita, Pemetaan Karakter, dan Relasi Tokoh: Pengembangan premis cerita; pemetaan peran, hierarki, dan hubungan antar tokoh; serta bagaimana setiap karakter berkontribusi pada perkembangan cerita.
  4. Desain dan Pemetaan Karakter: Model Sheet dan Ekspresi Gestural: Formalisasi desain karakter ke dalam format presentasi profesional, meliputi: 1. model sheet 2. character turnaround 3. ekspresi dan gesture sheet 4. konsistensi dan keterbacaan desain
  5. Langkah World Building 1: Mapping the World. Membangun kerangka dasar dunia fiksi, mencakup: 1. geografi dan logika spasial 2. aturan lingkungan 3. fungsi naratif dari ruang dan lokasi
  6. Langkah World Building 2: Visualizing the World. Mengubah konsep dunia menjadi representasi visual melalui: 1. visualisasi lokasi utama 2. suasana lingkungan dan tone visual 3. identitas estetika dunia
  7. Langkah World Building 3: Menyiapkan Penghuni Dunia. Memastikan keselarasan antara logika dunia dengan para penghuninya, meliputi: 1. sistem budaya 2. struktur sosial 3. spesies/komunitas/masyarakat 4. keterkaitan logis antara karakter dan dunianya

  1. Introduction to Character Design and World Building: An introduction to the relationship between character creation and world development, emphasizing how characters and setting mutually shape narrative meaning.
  2. Principles of Character Design: Character and Storytelling. Fundamental principles of designing strong characters, including visual clarity, personality communication, symbolic attributes, and narrative function.
  3. Story Premise, Character Mapping, and Character Relationships. Developing a story premise; mapping character roles, hierarchies, and relationships; structuring how each character supports narrative progression.
  4. Character Design and Mapping: Model Sheets and Gestural Expression. Formalizing character design into professional presentation format: 1. model sheets 2. character turnaround 3. gesture and expression sheets 4. consistency and recognizability
  5. World Building Step 1: Mapping the World. Constructing the foundational framework of the fictional world: 1. geography and spatial logic 2. environmental rules 3. narrative relevance of locations
  6. World Building Step 2: Visualizing the World. Translating conceptual structure into visual representation: 1. key location visualization 2. environmental mood & tone 3. world identity aesthetics
  7. World Building Step 3: Populating the World. Ensuring coherence between world logic and its inhabitants: 1. cultural systems 2. social structures 3. species / societies / daily life 4. how characters truly belong in the world
