  1. Sejarah perkembangan boardgame dunia dan Indonesia: Kajian perkembangan boardgame secara global dan perkembangan ekosistemnya di Indonesia.
  2. Pengenalan elemen & komponen, Prinsip dasar desain dan mekanik serta proses produksi boardgames: Pemahaman struktur dasar boardgame, komponen utama, prinsip desain, mekanik permainan, serta alur produksi.
  3. Studi Kasus: Boardgame klasik dan kontemporer dunia dan Indonesia. Analisis boardgame klasik dan modern untuk memahami variasi mekanik, tema, gaya visual, dan pengalaman bermain.
  4. Pra Produksi: Roleplay dan Storytelling, Implementasi Storytelling dalam mekanik, Konsep visualisasi dan komponen: Pengembangan ide awal melalui roleplay dan storytelling, penerjemahan narasi ke mekanik permainan, serta perancangan konsep visual awal.
  5. Produksi Boardgame (GDD), Purwarupa Visual, Purwarupa Kemasan: Penyusunan Game Design Document (GDD), pengembangan purwarupa visual, serta perancangan purwarupa kemasan.
  6. Pengujian purwarupa, Pemutakhiran komponen, visual, dan kemasan: Pengujian melalui playtesting, evaluasi hasil uji, serta penyempurnaan elemen mekanik, visual, dan kemasan.
  7. Merancang strategi komunikasi boardgame: Perancangan strategi komunikasi untuk positioning, promosi, distribusi, serta potensi pengembangan komersial dan komunitas.
  1. History of Board Game Development in the World and Indonesia: Study of the historical development of board games globally and the evolution of the board game ecosystem in Indonesia.
  2. Introduction to Elements & Components, Basic Design Principles, Game Mechanics, and Production Process: Understanding the fundamental structure of board games, core components, design principles, game mechanics, and production workflow.
  3. Case Studies: Classical and Contemporary Board Games (Global and Indonesian): Analysis of classical and contemporary board games to understand mechanics variation, themes, visual style, and player experience.
  4. Pre-Production: Roleplay & Storytelling, Integrating Narrative into Game Mechanics, Visual Concept and Components: Developing initial ideas through roleplay and storytelling, translating narrative into mechanics, and designing early visual concepts and components.
  5. Board Game Production (GDD), Visual Prototype, and Packaging Prototype: Developing the Game Design Document (GDD), creating visual prototypes, and designing packaging prototypes.
  6. Prototype Testing, Refinement of Components, Visuals, and Packaging: Conducting playtesting, evaluating results, and refining mechanics, visuals, and packaging components.
  7. Designing Board Game Communication Strategy: Developing communication strategies for positioning, promotion, distribution, and potential commercial/ community development.
Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)
  1. Mengetahui dan mampu mengimplementasikan metodologi perancangan khususnya dalam merancang sebuah boardgames.
  2. Mampu memahami fenomena perkembangan teknologi dan industri tabletop games khususnya boardgames secara global dan nasional.
  3. Memiliki wawasan mengenai kearifan lokal dan kemampuan dalam mengimplementasikan metodologi perancangan.
  4. Mampu mengeksekusi dan menyajikan sebuah desain boardgames yang siap uji pasar.
  1. Knowledgeable about and able to implement design methodology, specifically in designing board games.
  2. Able to understand the development of technology and the tabletop games industry, particularly board games, both globally and nationally.
  3. Possesses insight into local wisdom and the ability to implement design methodology.
