The mathematics minor program is provided for undergraduate students from other study programs. Program participants are required to take at least the following five courses with a weight of 12-18 credits: 1. MA2121 Elementary Linear Algebra or equivalent; 2. MA2231 Multivariable Calculus or equivalent; 3. One of MA2181 Data Analysis, MA2271 Introduction to Differential Equations or MA2251 Discrete Mathematics or equivalent. 4. One of MA3131 Introduction to Real Analysis, MA3022 Linear Algebra or MA3021 Algebraic Structures; 5. One mathematics course with numbers 3xxx or 4xxx. Another menu of minor programs can be arranged based on agreement with the study program that requires a mathematics minor program. To be able to take part in the minor program, students from outside the Bachelor of Mathematics Study Program must have an average grade of 2.50 for all mathematics courses they have taken (including Mathematics I and Mathematics II).

The Physics Minor is provided for students from outside the Physics Undergraduate program to study some of the fundamental aspects of Physics.

The minor program offered by the Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, ITB, for students of other study programs consists of 17 credits distributed across courses offered by the five fields of chemistry.

The Bioengineering minor program is designed to provide students with additional knowledge and specialized skills that support their major expertise. The Minor Program Scheme offers five core courses designed to broaden the knowledge and technical skills in various aspects of bioengineering.

The Integrated Farming Systems Minor Program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills in developing and managing holistic, efficient, and sustainable farming systems. This program integrates the principles of agroecology, integrated farming design, and the latest technology to create a productive farming system while maintaining environmental balance. Students will learn various important aspects of integrated farming systems, ranging from agroecology to the utilization of big data.

The Precision Agriculture Minor Program is designed to provide the knowledge and skills in using the latest technology to improve efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in agricultural systems. This program emphasizes the integration of instrumentation, automation, data analysis, and remote sensing technology to create precision and optimal agricultural systems. Students will learn various important aspects of precision agriculture, ranging from system control to the utilization of big data.

Provide services to enhance the competence of graduates with strong skills in conducting forest and land rehabilitation, restoration, and reclamation activities

This minor program is designed to introduce undergraduate students to the drug discovery process. Discovering new compounds is a lengthy process involving multiple stages, necessitating methods to enhance efficiency. This minor will cover the early stages of drug discovery, including target identification, design or modification of lead compounds, and methods for testing the efficacy and safety of drug compounds through in silico, in vitro, and in vivo approaches. Students will take courses related to these processes, with the aim of providing them with a foundational understanding of drug discovery, structural modification, formulation development, and the testing of drug safety and efficacy.

Minor in pharmaceutical product development is designed to introduce undergraduate students to the development of pharmaceutical preparations from natural, semi-synthetic, fully synthetic, or genetically engineered (biotechnology-based) compounds, utilizing the current scientific advancements. The process begins with selecting effective and safe active ingredients, followed by precise formulation to ensure the stability, efficacy, and safety of the final product. Pharmaceutical formulation development also includes testing and evaluation to ensure that the product meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The courses in this minor are designed to give students a thorough understanding of different facets of sports, such as technology, management, and health. Students will develop analytical skills in sports performance, event management, and technology, along with gaining knowledge in nutrition, injury prevention, and mental health.

The Drilling Engineering Minor provides a basic understanding of the wellbore design process. Can be taken by students of the Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Study Program

The Production Engineering Minor provides a basic understanding regarding the phenomenon of reservoir fluid flow from the reservoir into the well or vice versa as well as flow from the bottom of the well to the surface or vice versa. Production engineering is a part of petroleum engineering that seeks to maximize production (or injection) by considering economics.

Basic Geology is the primary foundation of all specializations in geology and encompasses various concepts and principles used to understand the Earth and the processes that shape it. Basic geological science provides the framework necessary to understand various geological phenomena and serves as the basis for research and practical applications in various fields of geology.

Contains the core material of chemical engineering, which provides the basics of process engineering, starting from an understanding of mass and energy balance, thermodynamic concepts and reaction kinetics, chemical operating units such as reactors, heat exchangers, separation, and the concept of industrial process control.

Contains material that provides the basics of process engineering, with an approach to the application of chemical engineering concepts in sustainable process industries. Learning begins with an understanding of mass and energy balance, followed by strategies in achieving energy efficiency and strategies in waste management and the concept of circular economy to achieve a more sustainable industry, then followed by the topic of developing chemical engineering industries, and ends with the concept of process safety and security as part of HSE (Health, Safety and Environment).

Bio and medical instrumentation systems engineering is designed to integrate the principles of biology, health, and engineering to solve problems in medicine and biotechnology. With this concentration, students are expected to have knowledge and skills related to: • Design, operation, and maintenance of biomedical instruments and devices. • Experimental design to test and refine biomedical devices • Ability to integrate human, device/hardware, and environmental aspects to meet the needs of the biological and medical fields After completing this concentration, students can pursue careers in the fields of Biomedical engineer, Product Development Engineer, R&D engineer.

This concentration combines the principles of physics and engineering to address challenges related to the production, conversion, distribution, and consumption of energy. It aims to develop efficient, sustainable, and innovative energy solutions to meet the growing global energy demand while minimizing environmental impacts By taking the Energy Systems Engineering concentration, students gain specialized knowledge of energy generation, conversion, and storage technologies, the ability to analyze complex energy systems and optimize their performance, the use of computational and simulation tools to solve energy-related problems, Innovation in sustainable and renewable energy solutions and communication related to technical matters related to energy systems to other parties. Job fields related to this concentration are Renewable Energy Engineer, Energy Systems Analyst, power systems engineer, Energy Storage Engineer, Research and Development (R&D) Engineer, renewable energy consultant, Energy policy analyst, regulatory affairs specialist, consultant.

This concentration focuses on the development, implementation, and management of instrumentation systems used to measure and control physical variables in various industrial processes related to control and automation systems including the design, analysis, and implementation of complex systems to operate independently or with minimal human supervision and intervention, using control theory, sensors and instrumentation, actuators, and advanced algorithms. Knowledge that students will gain by taking this concentration: • Knowledge and mastery related to sensors and transducers, calibration and data acquisition • Feedback Control, Feedforward Control, Adaptive Control, Robust Control • Mastery of Key Aspects of Autonomous Systems: Sensing, perception, decision making, action and learning & adaptation Fields of work related to this concentration are Instrument and control engineer, Robotic and automation developers, Aerospace engineer, Automotive engineer.

This concentration deals with interdisciplinary studies that integrate principles from nanotechnology and materials science to innovate and develop advanced materials. This field is essential for advancements in various industries including electronics, automotive, healthcare, energy, and environmental sustainability through: • Manipulation of materials at the atomic or molecular scale to develop nanomaterials and nanodevices. • Study of material properties and applications to develop new materials with specific properties By taking the Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering concentration, students will have technical skills related to Nanomaterial Synthesis, Characterization Techniques, Fabrication Skills, Material Analysis, Computational Modeling, Experimental Design, and Data Analysis. Job fields related to this concentration include: Nanotechnology Engineer, Semiconductor Process Engineer, Environmental Nanotechnologist, Materials Engineer, Research and Development (R&D) Engineer, Consultant, etc.

Sustainable Building and Environment Engineering is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary field that focuses on the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure in a manner that minimizes environmental impacts and promotes sustainability. This field integrates the principles of engineering, building physics, architecture, environmental science, and management to create a built environment that is high-performance, energy-efficient, resource-efficient, and healthy for its occupants. This concentration provides students with knowledge of the principles of building performance prediction, performance-based built environment design, and general building construction and maintenance. This concentration also provides the ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems related to building performance and sustainability. In addition, this concentration is also trained to develop innovative thinking related to sustainable technologies and practices in the built environment, including the use of intelligent systems, as well as the ability to communicate technical matters to various stakeholders. Fields of work relevant to this concentration include: Sustainable design consultant, Building manager, Green Building Engineer, Facilities manager, Acoustic engineer, lighting engineer/designer, HVAC engineer, Mechanical-electrical consultant, Smart building developer, etc.

The minor program in Food Engineering is aimed at students of other undergraduate study programs who want to get an overview of the application of engineering science in food processing, starting from an introduction to the components in food, techniques for extracting these components, the reactions that occur in food components during processing, to the application of food components as additives in the food industry. In addition, the application of microorganisms in the production of various fermented food products will also be studied. Knowledge of food packaging technology to maintain the quality of food products will complement food processing knowledge in this program.

This program of study package forms topics of knowledge within the field of Bioenergy Engineering and Chemurgy designed to support or complement students' primary fields of study.

The Analog Electrical Engineering minor program is provided for undergraduate students from other study programs at ITB. Program participants are required to take and pass 5 courses with a weight of 14 credits. In the analog stream minor program, students will be introduced to the basics of electrical engineering with an emphasis on analog applications.

The Digital Electrical Engineering minor program is provided for undergraduate students from other study programs at ITB. Program participants are required to take and pass 5 courses with a weight of 15 credits. In the digital stream minor program, students will be introduced to the basics of electrical engineering with an emphasis on digital applications.

The electrical energy conversion minor package in the Electric Power Engineering Undergraduate Study Program is a package of basic knowledge needed for the field of electrical energy utilization in industry. In the electrical energy conversion minor package, students will be given fundamental knowledge in the field of electrotechnics, namely understanding electrical circuits and electromagnetic fields, then given a basic understanding of electrical energy conversion through Electrical Machines, Power Generation, and Power Electronics courses. After taking this minor, students are expected to have an initial understanding of the utilization of electrical machinery in industry, both as a generator and as a drives.

The electric power system minor package in the Electrical Power Engineering Undergraduate Study Program is a package of basic knowledge needed for the field of electric power systems. In the power system minor package, students will be given fundamental knowledge in the field of electrotechnics, namely understanding electrical circuits and electromagnetic fields, then given a basic understanding of the power system through the courses of Power System Analysis, Power Generation, and Power System Protection. After taking this minor, students are expected to have an initial understanding of power system operations.

The High Voltage Technology minor package in the Electric Power Engineering Undergraduate Study Program is a package of basic knowledge needed for the field of utilization of high voltage technology in electric power systems. In this minor package, students will be given fundamental knowledge in the field of electrotechnics, namely understanding electrical circuits and electromagnetic fields, then given a basic understanding of high-voltage technology through High Voltage Engineering courses, Electrotechnical Materials, students can explore by taking at least two courses from the following courses Grounding and High Voltage Protection, High Voltage Equipment Insulation Techniques, High Voltage Equipment Maintenance, and High Voltage Equipment and Testing. After taking this minor, students are expected to have an initial understanding of the working and operational principles of high voltage equipment.

This minor is suitable for students who wish to deepen their knowledge in communications technology and its practical applications, both for industrial and research applications. Students are expected to be able to analyze various communication networks and solve technical problems in communication systems. Probability and Statistics are needed to analyze communication systems and network performance. Continuous Time Signal Processing is important for the design and analysis of communication systems. This minor will also study analog and digital communication systems. In addition to wireless access networks involving technologies that enable wireless access, optical networks as a high-speed communication system infrastructure with advanced technology will also be studied in this minor.

Communication Networks and Security This minor is designed for students who want to learn more about communications networks and how to protect them from threats and risks and prepares them for careers in network technology, cybersecurity and network management. Students are expected to be able to design and implement effective computer networks, manage and maintain networks and cloud computing systems, as well as protect networks and data from threats and security breaches. Probability and Statistics are needed to analyze communication networks as well as network performance. In Computer Networks, the basics of computer networks are studied including an understanding of network protocols, topology, network devices as well as network design, implementation and management. Performance Engineering for Telecommunications courses are required in analyzing and designing telecommunications systems and ensuring optimal performance. In Network Automation and Software Defined Networking (SDN) learn how automation and SDN can increase network flexibility and efficiency. In Connected Services and Cloud Computing, students can understand cloud-based services that provide access to computing and storage resources over the internet. Telecommunications Network Security studies techniques and strategies to protect telecommunications networks from various security threats.

Appropriate and targeted infrastructure development will encourage community productivity. Planners are trained to solve infrastructure problems and design infrastructure creatively, innovatively, and environmentally friendly.

The Urban and Regional Planning Minor Scheme provides knowledge on the importance of sustainable, environmentally sound, and community-oriented development. It can provide a better understanding of spatial planning, the ability to analyze and solve problems, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate.

The Urban Development Management Minor Scheme is to understand the complex and dynamic process of achieving sustainable urban development. Urban development is carried out by involving all stakeholders and by taking into account the principles of accountability, transparency, and sustainability.

The Urban Planning Minor helps to understand the principles of sustainable and inclusive urban planning by considering various issues and challenges faced especially with regard to land in urban areas. It can be an effective and contextualized planning solution for urban planners to contribute to sustainable and change-responsive urban development.

Tuition packages to study fine arts

This package is provided by the Undergraduate Program in Craft for students from the Faculty of Art and Design or related fields of study. Students eligible to participate in this program must have completed at least 4 semesters in their original study program, with a minimum of 74 credits passed and a minimum GPA of 3.0. Other requirements include not being colorblind and having the ability to draw manually and/or digitally using applications or similar tools. Participants in this program are required to complete all the courses offered in the package.
